Qué son

Qué

Quién

Quién pregunta por personas. Su plural es quiénes cuando la pregunta se refiere a varias personas. En el uso real, a veces el singular aparece con valor general, pero quién y quiénes marcan mejor la cantidad de personas.

Who asks about people. Its plural is used when the question refers to several people. In actual use, the singular is sometimes used generally, but the distinction between the singular and plural forms better indicates the number of people.

Cuál

Cuánto

Cuánto pregunta por cantidad o número. Cambia en género y número: cuánto, cuánta, cuántos, cuántas. La forma depende del sustantivo al que se refiere.

Tiempo y lugar

Para preguntar por tiempo y lugar, el español usa sobre todo adverbios interrogativos como cuándo y dónde. No son pronombres interrogativos, porque no sustituyen a un nombre. Se estudian junto con ellos porque también introducen preguntas de información.

La tilde
