Más frío y menos frío, o cada vez más cálido, permiten situar un periodo frente a otro sin necesidad de dar una fecha exacta. Este tipo de lenguaje resulta útil cuando el tiempo cambia poco a poco y la descripción necesita precisión.

Seasons are also expressed with comparisons to show gradual change across the year. More cold and less cold, or increasingly warm, allow you to situate a period against another without the need to give an exact date.
