Grado superlativo
El grado superlativo expresa la cualidad en su grado máximo. En español, se puede formar con sufijos o con expresiones como “muy” y “sumamente”. El superlativo puede ser absoluto, que no compara con nada, y relativo, que indica “el más” dentro de un grupo. En este módulo nos centramos en el superlativo absoluto de adverbios.
The superlative degree expresses the quality at its maximum degree. In Spanish, it can be formed with suffixes or with expressions like 'very' and 'extremely'. The superlative can be absolute, which compares to nothing, and relative, which indicates 'the most' within a group. In this module we focus on the absolute superlative of adverbs.
Superlativo con -ísimo
Muchos adverbios formados en -mente admiten el superlativo con -ísimo unido a la base del adjetivo. Se coloca -ísimo en la base y luego se añade -mente. El significado es equivalente a “muy” o “en grado máximo” de manera absoluta.
Many adverbs formed in -mente allow the superlative with -ísimo attached to the base of the adjective. You place -ísimo on the base and then add -mente. The meaning is equivalent to 'very' or 'in the utmost degree' in an absolute sense.

Cambio ortográfico
Al formar el superlativo con -ísimo, algunos adjetivos cambian la escritura por reglas ortográficas. Los adjetivos en -c cambian a -qu, los adjetivos en -g cambian a -gu, y los adjetivos en -z cambian a -c. Estos cambios se mantienen al formar el adverbio superlativo en -ísimamente.
