El clima

El clima es el tiempo que hace. Habla de sol, lluvia, nieve, viento, frío y calor. También usamos la palabra estación para partes del año, como verano o invierno. Clima y estación no son lo mismo.

Weather is the state of the atmosphere. It talks about sun, rain, snow, wind, cold, and heat. We also use the word season for parts of the year, such as summer or winter. Climate and season are not the same.

Palabras básicas

Estas palabras nombran el tiempo atmosférico. Son sustantivos muy usados para hablar del clima cada día.

These words name the weather. They are nouns frequently used to talk about the weather every day.

Adjetivos

Los adjetivos describen cómo está el tiempo. Se usan para decir si el día tiene sol, nubes, lluvia, nieve, viento, frío o calor.

Adjectives describe how the weather is. They are used to say whether the day is sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy, windy, cold, or hot.

Clima y actividades

El clima influye en las actividades diarias. Con sol, una persona puede ir al parque. Con lluvia, una persona suele usar paraguas. Con frío, una persona lleva ropa de abrigo. Con calor, una persona busca ropa ligera y agua.

The weather influences daily activities. On sunny days, a person can go to the park. On rainy days, a person usually uses an umbrella. In cold weather, a person wears warm clothing. In hot weather, a person looks for light clothing and water.
