Potere
Potere indica possibilità o permesso legato a circostanze esterne, non a capacità personale. Spesso si usa per dire che una cosa è possibile, che una regola lo permette o che non ci sono impedimenti pratici in quel momento.

Sapere
Sapere significa avere una competenza o conoscere un fatto. Con un verbo all’infinito, indica che qualcuno ha imparato a fare qualcosa, cioè ha la capacità pratica.
Know means to have a skill or know a fact. With an infinitive verb, it indicates that someone has learned to do something, i.e., has the practical ability.

Riuscire
Riuscire esprime che qualcuno ottiene il risultato desiderato, spesso nonostante una difficoltà o un’incertezza. La frase mette l’attenzione sull’esito, non solo sulla possibilità teorica o sulla competenza.
To succeed expresses that someone achieves the desired result, often despite a difficulty or uncertainty. The sentence focuses on the outcome, not only on theoretical possibility or on competence.

Permesso
Per parlare di permesso esplicito si usa spesso avere il permesso o essere autorizzato. Potere può sostituirlo in modo più generale, ma avere il permesso chiarisce che c’è un’autorizzazione formale o sociale.
