Grundidee

Zählbar
Zählbare Substantive haben normalerweise eine Singular- und eine Pluralform. Mit zählbaren Substantiven im Plural steht 'viele'. Im Singular verwende ich 'viel' nicht als Mengenangabe, sondern andere Wörter wie 'ein' oder eine Zahl.
Countable nouns normally have a singular and a plural form. With countable nouns in the plural, 'many' is used. In the singular, I do not use 'much' as a quantity indicator, but other words such as 'a' or a number.

Nicht zählbar
Nicht zählbare Substantive stehen meist im Singular und bezeichnen eine Masse oder ein abstraktes Konzept. Mit diesen Wörtern verwende ich 'viel'. Der Plural wird normalerweise nicht benutzt.

Pluralform
