What is stored, why each piece has to be, and how to remove all of it.
Go Loco keeps the things it needs to teach you and, as far as possible, nothing else: your progress, your level estimate, the transcripts of every scenario you have run, and everything you have written to Loco. Each of those exists because a feature you use would stop working without it, which is the test worth applying to any app asking you for something, so the short version is that the app stores what you produced, because what you produced is the only thing it teaches from.
Why the transcripts have to be kept
A scenario grade is derived from the conversation and not from a score computed while you spoke, so the conversation has to still exist when the grading happens. Your level estimate is derived the same way and keeps being revised as later evidence arrives, so it reads across your history rather than being a single number updated once, and deleting the transcripts would leave the grade with nothing behind it and the estimate with nothing to re-derive from.
The honest position
This app does not work without keeping them, so if that is not a trade you want to make, the deletion below removes all of it in one go and takes the features with it.
What you can see of it
Nothing about your level is hidden from you, because the level and its confidence score both appear on your progress page and Your Level explains every reason either of them moves. Your scenario transcripts are readable in full from the History control above any conversation, and your chats with Loco are listed the same way.
Deleting everything
Delete Account on your account page removes your progress, your level estimate, your transcripts and your conversations, in a single operation, with no soft delete and no thirty-day window. This is genuinely irreversible, so if you only want to stop paying then cancelling is the thing you want and Free And Pro describes it, because cancelling leaves everything intact and drops you to the Free tier.
Cookies, analytics and email
The Privacy Policy is the binding document, and this page is a plain-language summary of the parts people ask about most. Analytics here measure which parts of the app get used and where people get stuck, and they exist to make the teaching better rather than to build a profile worth selling. Email is opt-in when you sign up, the Subscribed checkbox on your account page switches every letter off at once, and every message carries an unsubscribe link that works without signing in.
