Formación Básica
Formamos el futuro progresivo con "estar" en futuro simple más el gerundio del verbo principal. El gerundio no cambia con la persona. El verbo "estar" aporta el tiempo y la concordancia con el sujeto.
We form the progressive future with "estar" in the simple future plus the gerund of the main verb. The gerund does not change with person. The verb "estar" provides the time and agreement with the subject.

Gerundio
El gerundio expresa duración o desarrollo y se combina con "estar" para crear tiempos progresivos. En español, los verbos terminados en -ar forman el gerundio con -ando y los verbos terminados en -er e -ir forman el gerundio con -iendo. Algunos verbos tienen formas irregulares de gerundio.
