The basic Spanish direct object pronouns are short forms like me, te, lo, la, nos, os, los, and las, and they agree in gender and number with the noun they replace.

Placement
Direct object pronouns normally appear before a conjugated verb, or they attach to an infinitive, gerund, or affirmative command, and they never split a negative command.

Double Object Pronouns
When both indirect and direct object pronouns appear, the indirect object pronoun (like me, te, le, les) normally comes first; if the indirect pronoun is le or les and is followed by a direct pronoun that begins with l, le/les changes to se.
