Audio
Hear any word, sentence, or paragraph in your target language read aloud in a native voice.
Written language and spoken language close the gap between them much faster when you meet them together, so Go Loco reads anything in your target language out loud.
Playing something
A speaker button sits beside text you can hear, and pressing it opens a card quoting the sentence, with a speed control and a play button. The speed runs from a quarter of normal up to double, which is slow enough to pick a word out of a phrase and fast enough to hear how it sounds at conversational pace.
Where it works
Audio is on a module page beside sentences and table rows, on a scenario premise before anybody starts talking, and in Quick Practice, where the app reads every question aloud and listens to your spoken answers.
Two voices
There is a robotic voice and a natural one, each play button says which it is, and the natural voice is a Pro feature.
Speaking, rather than listening
Hearing the language is one half and producing it is the other, and producing it is the half that moves your level. Answer a practice question out loud for a gem bonus, or open Live Mode in a conversation with Loco or a voice scenario.
Limits
Free gives you ten short pieces of audio a week, and anything longer than a phrase is Pro outright, as is dictating into a typed conversation. Pro has no cap on any of it, and Free And Pro has every allowance in one table.
