Go Loco is an AI-powered language learning platform. Start at your current level and progress at your own pace. All content is AI-generated and reviewed with human oversight.

The Platform

Go Loco offers structured, college-level language learning built around the way people actually learn: through reading, practice, and real conversation. With over 150 modules per language, there is always something new to work on whether you are just starting out or pushing toward fluency.

Getting Started

Go Loco begins with a placement exam to determine your starting point. No guessing, no wasted time on material you already know.

All content is organized around the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), the international standard for language proficiency. If you are not familiar with CEFR, think of it as a scale from complete beginner to fully fluent:

  • A1 / A2 — Beginner
  • B1 / B2 — Intermediate
  • C1 / C2 — Advanced

As you complete modules, exercises, and exams, Go Loco continuously refines your proficiency estimate and reports it as a CEFR level with a confidence score. The more you do, the more accurate your score becomes.

Features

Textbook

Each language level comes with a structured, college-level textbook covering grammar, vocabulary, and language concepts in depth, the same material you would find in a university language course. Textbook content is public by default and can be browsed without an account. Pro users can generate additional chapters from their own prompts.

Practice Exercises

Each module includes a set of practice exercises tied to the textbook content at your current level, reinforcing what you have read and improving recall over time. Free users have access to a limited number of exercises per module. Pro users can generate additional exercises on demand.

Exams

Each level includes exams designed to prepare you for real-world language entrance and graduation tests. Free users have access to a limited number of exam questions per module. Pro users have no limits and can generate additional exam questions on demand.

Voice Chat

Voice chat puts you in a structured scenario and challenges you to use a set of supplied words and phrases fluently in real conversation with an AI language partner. It is not a script. You have to use the language naturally to get through it. Voice chat uses text-to-speech voice interaction and is only available for pro users.

Progress Tracking

Your progress is tracked separately for each language. Go Loco continuously updates your proficiency estimate as you complete modules, exercises, and exams, so your level reflects everything you have done, not just your last exam score.
