How It Works

Go Loco is a language learning platform built around structured, college-level content and AI-generated practice. Pick a language, find your level, and work through it at your own pace.

The Platform

Go Loco organizes language learning into courses that follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) — the international standard for measuring language proficiency. Each course runs from A1 (complete beginner) to C2 (full fluency), with over 150 modules per language covering grammar, vocabulary, and language concepts in depth.

Content is generated by AI and reviewed for quality, accuracy, and safety.

Levels

CEFR divides language proficiency into six levels:

  • A1 / A2 — Beginner
  • B1 / B2 — Intermediate
  • C1 / C2 — Advanced

Go Loco tracks your progress through each level as you complete modules, exercises, and exams. Your proficiency estimate updates continuously and is reported as a CEFR level with a confidence score — the more you do, the more accurate it becomes.

Features

Textbook

Each level includes a structured textbook covering grammar, vocabulary, and language concepts — the same material you would find in a university language course. Chapters can be browsed without an account. Pro users can generate additional chapters from their own prompts.

Practice Exercises

Every module includes practice exercises tied to the textbook content, reinforcing what you have read and building recall over time. Free users have access to a limited number of exercises per module. Student and Pro users have unlimited access. Pro users can also generate additional exercises on demand.

Exams

Timed exams help you test your readiness and prepare for real-world proficiency tests. Free users have access to a limited number of exam questions. Student and Pro users have full access. Pro users can generate additional questions on demand.

Dictionary & Flashcards

Look up any word as you read. Save words to your flashcard deck and review them on your own schedule. Available on Student and Pro plans.

Voice Chat

Practice speaking with an AI language partner in structured real-world scenarios. You are given a set of words and phrases to use — the goal is to use them naturally in conversation. Voice chat is only available on Pro.

Progress Tracking

Your progress is tracked separately for each language and updates as you complete modules, exercises, and exams.
