Quick Practice
Short question sets drawn from what you have studied, one question at a time, each one linked back to the module that explains it.
Quick Practice is the short half of a study day: a session is a run of questions with a subject rather than a shuffle of the whole course, and it is built to fit into five minutes.
Starting a session
Two doors open the same question loop, and they scope it differently. Start Quiz on a module page draws only from that module's own questions and stays on the module page, while the course Practice page draws from every module in the course.
The settings card
Both open the same settings card first, where you choose whether the app reads questions aloud and listens to spoken answers, and you filter the pool. The course session also lets you filter by CEFR range, and Start Practice begins it.
How long a session runs
A course session runs a fixed set of ten questions, and a module session runs longer and stops partway through at a milestone once you have answered enough of them correctly.
The question types
Each question is one screen, and you answer it before you see the next one.

What the audio types need
Speaking, listening and transcription need the audio controls turned on in the settings card.
After you answer
You are told whether you were right, and you are shown the explanation, and then Continue moves on while Back revisits the question you just answered. A course session carries a link to the module a question came from, which is the way back to the concept when something does not click, and a module session needs no such link because you are already on that page.
What a session is worth
Every correct answer pays gems, scaled by the CEFR level of the question, a fill in the blank pays more than a multiple choice because it gives you nothing to pick from, and answering out loud pays a bonus of its own. A question only pays when a wrong answer becomes a right one, so re-answering something you already had right earns nothing.
What it tells the estimate
Answers are also evidence for your level, where a spoken answer counts for more than a typed one and a typed one counts for more than a multiple choice, because they are different amounts of evidence about the same ability.
Limits
Practice needs no account and no subscription. A visitor with no account may answer a handful of questions per module, a free account may answer a hundred, and Pro removes the cap, while audio inside practice draws on the audio allowance.
